4. Travel documents and insurance

Travel Documents

Each traveller is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all documents required for international travel, including passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other entry or exit requirements imposed by Algerian law.

The general rule for obtaining a visitors visa for Algeria is that visa application needs to be done in your home country at the Algerian embassy. Applying for a visa between two-three months prior to your journey is recommended. Any exceptions or alternatives will be communicated if and where applicable.

Mediterra Journey will provide a Letter of Invitation to support the application for an Algerian visa (tourist or business). However, obtaining the visa remains the sole responsibility of the traveller.

Although Mediterra Journey may provide general guidance regarding entry requirements, the responsibility for ensuring that all travel documents are valid and complete rests entirely with the traveller.

Mediterra Journey cannot be held responsible for the refusal, delay, or denial of a visa application.

If a visa application is refused, a full refund will not be issued. Any eligible refund will be calculated after deducting non-recoverable expenses already paid to hotels, transportation providers, guides, or other suppliers on behalf of the traveler.
